twenty one six

Here's what's been going on lately!

MKV has been finished for a little over a year now (yeesh) and I'm trundling on ahead with a new project. You can see previews and progress over on my tumblr's Borrowed Bones tag.

Of course, like many people, I used the release of The Force Awakens at the end of last year as an excuse to dive back into... well, mainly Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel. So if you're interested in silly scribble-comics about a couple of vaguely-remembered thirteen-year-old games, have I got the tumblr for you!

But I did also finally get around to watching The Clone Wars and my sister's been deep into replaying The Force Unleashed on increasingly ridiculous difficulty levels, so it's generally been a Star Wars pit around these parts.

On the non-comics, non-fanart front I've been putting all sorts of fun things up on my Society6 and Redbubble shops, so if you'd like to help me save up for new equipment and bright colours are your thing you might want to check that out.

"These Woods"

"This City"
"Guardian of Songbirds"

So that's what I've been up to!

Unfortunately, I will not be a vendor at this year's Whyte Avenue Art Walk. Apologies to my repeat visitors/tent-neighbours! Have a great time and keep cool out there! <3

What's happenin'?

Well I got sick, got a bunch of work done, got sick again, and now I'm preparing for Art Walk season!

Oh, and MKV is in the thick of its final chapter. (!!!)

It's going to be quiet around here for a while, and then we're looking at redesigned business cards, more Art Walk info and my endeavours to repaint my rusty gridwall. Woo!

maybe it'll even stop snowing by then!

Update before the busy season.

Iiiiiiit's Art Walk time again!
From July 11 to 13 I'll be set up around my usual spot in Iron Horse Park (not facing any fences, either), and I'll have a surprise for my bros from the internet. More on that later.

For now:

My shop front at Society6 is finally starting to look a little filled out! You can get my stuff pretty much anywhere in the world and printed on pretty much anything (shower curtains! SHOWER CURTAINS), and I'm slowly adding more digital art to my inventory.

Partial Sun, Well-Drained Soil.

The Sparkliest Princess Of All.
In other news, we're launching into chapter 10 of MKV and going strong. Thanks for reading, you guys! Stay tuned for more Art Walk talk soon.

Back in action!

PREVIOUSLY, DURING THE BREAK: I got a day-job, bought a desk and a computer monitor, finished my script, upgraded my brushes and pens, learned how to use Manga Studio 5 and NOW WE'RE BACK!

MKV will be updating every Tuesday and Saturday and I'll be over here getting my ducks in a row for the quickly approaching Art Walk season. See you around!
